FTS' Noble Attends Key Cultural Event at Governor's Mansion

For Immediate Release

Tampa, FL--May 2011 Jocelyn Noble, President of FedTechServices, Inc. (FTS) attended a formal reception given by Rick Scott, Governor of the state of Florida Thursday, May 26th held at the Governor's Mansion. The reception was held in honor of and celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

May was chosen to celebrate Asian Pacific Americans as it was on May 7, 1843 that the first Japanese immigrants arrived to the United States. The reception was part of Rick Scott's state-wide proclamation of the month of May as Asian Pacific Heritage Month, in which he states: "Asian Pacific Americans have strengthened our economy through their entrepreneurship, and have enriched our Nation with their strong values of love of family and community," and that "in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month a variety of community celebrations planned in Florida throughout the month will include cultural, artistic, educational, and historical activities."

Jocelyn Noble, a Philippine-American, enthusiastically accepted the prestigious invitation. Commenting on the evening's events, Noble said: "It is a high honor and privilege to meet the Governor and to join in celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Belonging to a culture which values hard work, along with excellence, is a source of personal pride for me. This acknowledgment by the Governor, of our important contributions to the state of Florida and our great nation, encourages all minorities to strive to achieve the American dream."

Noble was invited to this event due to her success with FTS, which specializes in monitoring networks using Theater Network Management Architecture (TNMA) for both U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) and U.S. Forces-Afghanistan (USFOR-A). She also serves as vice president of the Philippine/ American Chamber of Commerce of Tampa Bay.
