For Immediate Release

Tampa, FL--August 2011 FedTechServices (FTS) has hired Travis Hudnall as their new Managing Director of Public Safety, and will serve as the Practice Leader of Law Enforcement at the company. He has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering with a minor in Mathematics and Computer Science from Jackson State University.

A truly qualified professional, Hudnall possesses 22 years of experience in leading technology divisions, and has worked on several note-worthy projects, such as providing technical support for the 2009 Presidential Inauguration, implementing aY2K program for a Fortune 500 company, and implementing the enterprise architecture program for the nation's capital.

Working as the CIO/CTO of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), Hudnall established a five year strategic plan for all IT programs in 2007, and in 2010, Hudnall directed a budget of $25 million. Under Hudnall's leadership, the programs he developed allowed law enforcement professionals to focus more time and effort on law enforcement and protection, resulting in a 36% reduction in major crime in the Washington, D.C. area. Hudnall's many achievements have been recognized both by the DC Metropolitan Police Department, naming Hudnall the Bureau Employee of the Year in 2009, and in the White House's Office of Management and Budget ISE Program Office publication, Information Sharing for Counter-Terrorism, signed by President Obama in 2009.

Hudnall will lead FTS' Public Safety/Law Enforcement practice group, and will be responsible for organizing and managing customer-focused teams. He will also contribute "hands on" participation to project initiation and delivery of work, such as client presentations.

Hudnall's position with FTS marks an entering into a new sector for the company, primarily that of the Public Safety market. Jocelyn Noble, President of FTS, looks forward to having Hudnall as part of the FTS team. "We are extremely fortunate to have Mr. Hudnall's expertise and years of experience added to our executive team at FTS. Not only will the company benefit, but our staff will gain much knowledge from working with such a seasoned professional," she said.
