FTS to Showcase TNMA 2.0 at 2011 CWID
January, 2011 FedTechServices, Inc. (FTS), a network management solutions provider based in Tampa, Florida, will be participating in the 2011 Coalition Warfighter Interoperability Demonstration (CWID) in San Diego, CA, Suffolk, VA, Hanscom AFB, MA, and Shirley's Bay, Ottawa, Canada in order to showcase its newest creation, TNMA 2.0. TNMA 2.0 is a robust, deployable network management architecture designed to help the warfighter better manage and monitor the performance and security of communication networks.
The purpose of CWID is to allow private sector innovators to showcase the technologies which can be used by the military and other agencies in their operations. Technologies are then analyzed for a variety of criteria, and a final report containing those assessments is released by CWID. Four demonstrations will take place in the United States in 2011, and additional demonstrations will be sponsored by Canada, the United Kingdom, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
In order to participate in CWID, FTS was required to complete an intensive application and interview process which took place over the course of several months. Companies from across the nation hoping to secure government contracts applied for one of the coveted spots to one of four CWIDs which will take place in various locations in 2011.
"We are very proud and excited to be accepted into CWID this year," explained Allen Noble, CEO of FTS. "We have poured a great deal of energy into creating and refining TNMA 2.0, and look forward to demonstrating its capabilities to current and future partners. This is an exciting opportunity and a chance for us to showcase our hard work, especially for a company that has only been around for a couple of years."
TNMA 2.0 is a distributed network architecture comprised of top-name commercial off-the-shelf products which allows users to monitor the performance and security of communication networks from any location in near real-time. This architecture provides redundancy as well as user visibility with greater defined control management. By improving operational awareness, TNMA 2.0 optimizes command and control communications, allowing faster response times and more accurate targeting. TNMA 2.0's tools enhance command and control over a new generation of unmanned military systems and improve internal security of operational networks when intrusions occur.
At each CWID, FTS will be partnering with other participants to demonstrate how TNMA 2.0 will operate in the field with other systems. This interoperability demonstration will show how the product can be used in conjunction as a Manager of Managers with other systems in order to help soldiers complete their mission. These partnerships will include companies specializing in radio and satellite communications.
