Tampa, FL--July, 2011 FedTechServices, Inc. (FTS) will be a sponsor this year to the SPC Charles Lemon Golf Tournament Fundraiser, which will be held on October 9th 2011 at the Bay Palms Golf Complex on MacDill air force base. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization whose mission is to "empower wounded warriors." The rest of the money raised will go to SPC Charles Lemon, a wounded soldier from the Tampa Bay area. Lemon was injured on June 8th 2011 when his tank drove over an IED in Iraq, losing both his legs and suffering serious burns. The money will help support Lemon's family.

As a military contract company, FedTechServices supports soldiers and veterans, and is especially involved with the Wounded Warriors Project. Commenting on the upcoming golf tournament, Jocelyn Noble, President of FedTechServices said: "Our team feels an extraordinary connection to all military personnel, especially those who have been wounded in the AOR. Supporting the Wounded Warrior Project is like supporting family and we are proud to do it."

The golf tournament will include a shotgun start, in which all groups of players tee off simultaneously from different holes, as well as a 4-person scramble, in which each player tees off on each hole, and the best of the tee shots is selected. The tournament will be followed by an awards ceremony.
